Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Document care activities in the facility record system in a timely manner
Support recreational and social activities to promote resident well-being

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be valid for Pennsylvania)
Minimum ability to perform required 12-hour shift duties and reliable attendance
Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check, and health screenings
Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient-centered care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection prevention and safety protocols
Good communication and teamwork skills
Comfort with basic electronic charting or willingness to learn
Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nurses
