Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the care team promptly
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and uphold infection prevention standards

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (or ability to obtain PA license) — must be in good standing
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly)
Clinical experience in a relevant setting (skilled nursing, long-term care, or similar) preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused attitude
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required background checks
Willingness to follow facility policies, charting systems, and quality standards

Education

LPN diploma or vocational nursing certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic wound care and infection control principles
Vital signs monitoring and patient assessment fundamentals
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Professional bedside manner and clear communication with patients/families
