Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care with respect and dignity
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to the nurse
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection-control practices
- Document care and patient observations clearly and promptly
- Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (must be state-certified as required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or obtained upon hire
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; compassionate bedside manner
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in basic patient care and activities of daily living
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Comfortable taking vital signs and documenting findings
- Good time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
