Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to drive patient-centered plans
Document patient status and interventions in the electronic health record with attention to detail
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility for NH licensure
Med/Surg nursing experience preferred; confident in general medical-surgical practice
Current BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications a plus
Strong clinical judgment, prioritization skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient-focused attitude

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and best practices
Medication administration and IV therapy competency
Patient assessment, wound care, and basic post-operative care
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation
Time management, delegation, and multitasking in a busy unit
