Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM (day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living—bathing, dressing, toileting—with respect and compassion
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Support safe patient mobility, transfers, and positioning
Help maintain a clean, comfortable environment to promote recovery
Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team clearly and professionally
Document care and interventions thoroughly to support continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an approved state CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection control
Skill in taking vital signs and documenting observations
Ability to follow care plans and report changes to nurses
Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
Compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
