Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care for patients in the cardiac catheterization lab
• Collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and the care team to prepare and manage procedures
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic data to guide care decisions
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure all procedural equipment is ready and functioning
• Respond to call assignments and urgent situations with calm, timely action
• Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and follow-up
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and professionally

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the applicable state (license verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Willingness to participate in weekday call and 1 weekend per month rotation
• Completion of required health screenings and immunizations (COVID-19, MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, TB screening) and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and Cath Lab workflow
• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Peri-procedural patient assessment and stabilization
• Ability to work effectively on-call and respond to urgent needs
• Clear communication and teamwork in high-stakes clinical environments
