Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform complex testing across Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology with precision and care
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accurate results
• Execute and document quality control procedures and maintain compliance with lab standards
• Adhere to safety protocols and laboratory best practices to protect patients and staff
• Report and communicate critical results clearly and promptly to clinical teams
• Support operational excellence by multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Serve in a supervisory capacity as required by Nevada State General Supervisor licensure

Qualifications

• Active Nevada State General Supervisor license (required)
• Proven experience performing complex testing in Clinical Laboratory disciplines including Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, and Microbiology
• Strong ability to multitask and maintain quality control and safety under pressure
• Comfortable working evening/night shifts and collaborating with clinical staff
• Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in laboratory testing workflows and instrumentation
• Knowledge of quality control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with Blood Bank procedures and microbiology techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot instruments and testing issues efficiently
• Skilled at time management and prioritizing tasks in a busy lab
