Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to older adults, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs, monitor residents, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with transfers, mobility, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene while promoting dignity
- Document care accurately in resident records and communicate effectively with the care team
- Support meal assistance and dietary needs while maintaining a safe, clean environment
- Build trust and rapport with residents and families to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Comfortable working with older adults and addressing common geriatric needs
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited GNA program and current GNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident hygiene needs
- Basic vital sign measurement and monitoring skills
- Awareness of infection control practices and patient safety protocols
- Clear documentation habits and ability to follow individualized care plans
- Empathy, observation skills, and effective communication with residents and the care team
