Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
• Monitor and document vital signs, behaviors, and changes in condition accurately
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Collaborate with nursing team to implement care plans and communicate resident needs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Local to Albuquerque, NM (LOCAL ONLY) — reliable commute to Las Palomas Center area
• Comfortable working overnight 12+ hour shifts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday
• Basic infection control knowledge and ability to follow facility policies
• Pass required background checks and any facility-specific screenings

Education

• State-approved CNA certification
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care: bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, mobility assistance
• Accurate documentation and charting of resident status and care activities
• Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting changes to nursing staff
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced setting
• Awareness of infection prevention and resident safety best practices
• Compassion, patience, and the ability to engage residents respectfully
