Shift Type: Night, 3x12-hour nights per week, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, includes every-other-weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled (night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care for critically ill adult and pediatric patients in the ICU
- Manage ventilators, perform advanced airway support, and titrate respiratory therapies to optimize patient outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses and therapists to develop individualized care plans
- Document care accurately in Epic and communicate changes in patient condition clearly during handoffs
- Float as needed to support like units and maintain continuity of care across the facility
- Participate in unit-based initiatives, safety practices and quality improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience, with comfort in adult ICU and pediatric patients
- Active Washington state respiratory therapist license required (pending licenses are not accepted)
- Comfortable working nights, weekends and holidays as required by the schedule
- Experience with Epic charting preferred
- Ability to float between like units and adapt to changing clinical needs
Education
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical care respiratory skills including ventilator management and advanced airway care
- Experience caring for both pediatric and adult ICU patients
- Proficiency or familiarity with Epic electronic health record documentation
- Ability to work independently on night shift and collaborate during multidisciplinary rounds
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication and time management in high-acuity settings
