Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift; schedule may include weekends)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage ventilators and perform ventilator assessments to optimize patient breathing support
- Administer oxygen therapy and nebulizer treatments safely and effectively
- Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient response, adjusting care as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to emergencies using ACLS/BLS protocols when applicable
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and document care accurately in the chart
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and equipment use
Qualifications
- Current RRT credential (required)
- ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical respiratory therapy experience (as stated)
- NRP and PALS certifications are a plus for pediatric roles
- Experience in ICU, NICU or PICU settings is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ventilator management skills and familiarity with common ventilator modes
- Skilled in nebulizers and oxygen therapy delivery
- Ability to perform focused respiratory assessments and interpret monitoring data
- Experience working in acute care/hospital respiratory units
- Comfortable following unit guidelines and documenting care in an electronic medical record
