Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
Assist with safe transfers, mobility and range-of-motion activities
Document care in the medical record and communicate changes to the nursing team
Maintain infection control standards and a safe, clean environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Participate in shift handoffs and contribute to positive resident experiences

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be valid in Virginia)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Reliable attendance and ability to meet bonus criteria (no more than 2 call-outs, no NCNS to keep the $500 pick-up bonus)
Comfortable working E/O weekends as required
Patient-focused attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic nursing care skills and comfortable assisting with ADLs
Ability to take and accurately record vitals and observations
Good documentation and communication skills
Basic knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
Teamwork, reliability, and a positive bedside manner
