Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on your unit
• Perform thorough assessments and develop patient-centered care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient status, interventions and responses in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education to support recovery and self-care
• Advocate for patient safety, infection control and evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One year of relevant acute care nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background checks and required facility onboarding

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Experience with medication administration and IV therapy
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Good time management, prioritization and patient advocacy
• Familiarity with electronic health records and charting workflows
