Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care and advocacy
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care clearly in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Maryland (or compact RN license accepted where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous bedside nursing experience preferred (new grads considered depending on unit needs)
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
