Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents with dignity and respect
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
• Assist with ADLs (activities of daily living) including bathing, feeding, and mobility
• Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• GNA certification required or active CNA certification preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtained shortly after hire
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing helpful but new grads are welcome
• Compassionate patient-first attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shift reliably

Education

• High school diploma or GED; GNA/CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control practices
• Familiarity with documentation and charting best practices
• Ability to safely transfer and ambulate residents
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
• Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment and prioritizing tasks
