Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and document patient vital signs and changes in condition accurately
Communicate clearly and professionally with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
Support efficient admission, transfer, and discharge processes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in California
Minimum basic patient care experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and required pre-employment screenings
Reliable transportation and ability to be available Fri-Tue per schedule

Education

CNA certification (required)
High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and observation skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with electronic charting and basic clinical documentation
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy med unit
Calm problem-solving skills in patient care situations
Respect for patient privacy, safety, and dignity
