Roles & Responsibilities

• Clean pots, pans, cooking equipment, and kitchen surfaces using approved chemicals
• Sanitize and maintain floors and other kitchen equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and perform routine equipment maintenance checks
• Follow infection control and sanitation protocols to protect patients and staff
• Complete Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist accurately and on time
• Document cleaning activities and report any equipment or safety concerns promptly
• Participate in required health screening and vaccination compliance activities

Qualifications

• DCI/BVP certification (listed as required)
• Must be able to pass Prime drug screening (minimum 10-panel) and color-blind test
• Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist
• Current fit test and up-to-date vaccinations per facility policy (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, TB testing as required)
• Ability to follow manufacturer guidelines and safely handle approved cleaning chemicals
• Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Sanitation best practices and infection control procedures
• Use of approved cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety data sheets
• Kitchen equipment cleaning and routine maintenance
• Floor care and safe handling of cleaning tools
• Following manufacturer guidelines and facility protocols
• Familiarity with Prime Skills Checklist processes and documentation
