Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 10-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements (1 weekday and 1 weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in cardiovascular and open heart surgeries, ensuring sterile field and instrument readiness
Prepare and maintain the operating room, including sterilization of instruments and equipment
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to ensure efficient surgical procedures
Handle endovascular, thoracic, general, neuro, spine, and robotic surgeries as needed
Respond to on-call requirements promptly within 30 minutes

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
BLS certification required
Colorado DORA license required
Experience in open heart and endovascular surgery
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CVOR procedures and open heart surgery
Familiarity with robotic surgery and endoscopic procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float to general OR when needed
