Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Sterilize and disinfect surgical instruments and equipment following strict protocols
Assemble and package surgical trays for various procedures
Inspect instruments for damage and ensure proper functionality
Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and rotate stock as needed
Document all sterilization processes accurately for compliance
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure timely availability of instruments

Qualifications

Current Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) or equivalent certification
Minimum 1 year of experience in sterile processing preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Commitment to patient safety and infection control standards

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in sterilization techniques (autoclave, chemical, etc.)
Knowledge of AAMI standards and OSHA regulations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
