Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound and vascular studies that directly impact patient care
Conduct a variety of imaging procedures including drains and biopsies
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Maintain equipment and ensure proper documentation in Fuji EPIC system
Provide compassionate care while completing 8-10+ scans per day

Qualifications

Current RVT certification required with strong vascular experience
RDMS certification required, RDCS is a plus
BLS certification
Experience with general, vascular, and procedural ultrasound studies
Ability to work variable 10-hour shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Ultrasound imaging techniques
Vascular studies expertise
Procedure support including drains and biopsies
Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS systems
Philips ultrasound equipment
