Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts, self-scheduling with balanced schedule provided to manager, 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule, rotating holidays, call required per census

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to changes using EFM technology
Titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with a close-knit team to support high-acuity patients including those with high BMI, diabetes, and substance use concerns
Float within Zone 1 when needed to support sister facilities and maintain excellent patient outcomes
Participate in call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage for the unit

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM, and STABLE certifications required
LDRP experience essential
Comfortable titrating drips and reading own EFM strips
Willingness to float within Zone 1 when census allows

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP experience
Titratable drips including Pitocin, Mag, Insulin, and D10
EFM monitoring and strip interpretation
OBIX EFM system
Bubble CPAP equipment
