Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Titrate critical drips such as Pitocin and Magnesium with precision and confidence
Monitor fetal heart rates using EFM and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Assist with triage, antepartum, postpartum, and post-surgical recovery for obstetric patients
Scrub in for C-sections and GYN procedures when needed to support seamless surgical care
Float to sister units like NICU, Peds, or Med/Surg to lend your expertise wherever it's needed most

Qualifications

Active RN license and at least 3 years of recent LDRP experience
Current BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced preferred), and STABLE certifications
Comfortable titrating drips and reading fetal monitoring strips independently
Willingness to float to related units and embrace new challenges with a positive attitude
Open to first-time travelers who are ready to jump right in and make an impact

Knowledge & Skills

Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and occasional Insulin drips
EFM monitoring and accurate strip interpretation
AWHONN staffing guidelines and couplet care ratios
Scrub experience for C-sections and GYN cases is a plus
Strong assessment skills for high-risk OB patients including gestational hypertension and diabetes
