Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele
Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
- Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
- Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Float to East Campus or PCU as needed to support hospital-wide care
- Administer set-rate drips such as Diltiazem and manage non-titratable medications
- Support patients using BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and breathing treatments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some experience with general, orthopedic surgical, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and basic strip reading
- Patient assessment and monitoring for med-surg/telemetry populations
- Electronic medical record documentation with Cerner
- Collaboration with charge nurses, aides, and respiratory therapists
