Location: Sun City, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, flexible on 5x8hr or 4x10hr shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform professional imaging duties in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Scrub and pan cardiovascular arterial and venous studies alongside cardiologists
Conduct vascular angiography, angioplasty, arteriography, and electrophysiology procedures
Manage inventory ordering and supply chain to maintain PAR levels
Monitor per-case expenses and suggest cost-saving opportunities
Maintain compliance with governing and accreditation agency regulations
Troubleshoot and maintain fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment
Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff
Follow AIDET communication standards for excellent patient experiences
Collaborate as a flexible team member ready to support additional duties

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist Program
ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification required
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
State licensure appropriate to certification and job function
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures

Education

Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist Program or Radiologic Technologist Program

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
Fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment operation
Electrophysiology studies and RF Ablation techniques
Hemodynamic monitoring
Radiation safety principles
Inventory management and cost control
