Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous rhythm changes following established protocols
Collaborate with local RN staff to ensure timely patient care interventions
Accurately document and communicate cardiac arrhythmias in real-time
Strive to improve patient outcomes and department metrics daily

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms as pass/fail
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Strong candidates may have the 3-month education requirement waived

Knowledge & Skills

EKG Interpretation expertise
Cardiac Rhythm Recognition proficiency
Ability to work independently in a centralized monitoring environment
Strong communication skills for emergency and routine situations
