Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a dynamic LDRP setting
Monitor fetal strips and interpret vital data to ensure safe deliveries
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin with precision
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed, showcasing adaptability across the hospital
Collaborate with CNAs and the care team to deliver seamless patient experiences
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to maintain excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
Critical thinking in obstetric and neonatal care
Meditech EMR proficiency
Philips telemetry monitoring
Traceview/PIP EFM system experience
