Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg levels
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor patients using ventilators and advanced hemodynamic equipment while receiving real-time training
Collaborate with PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians to deliver holistic patient support
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Float to same-level units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Chemotherapy administration experience strongly preferred
Comfortable with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
Valid driver's license required at time of submission
Open to first-time travelers who meet requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and genuine compassion for patients
Ability to titrate insulin and cardizem drips as needed
Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Understanding of oncology patient journey from diagnosis through remission
Flexibility to float between PCU and Med/Surg units
Commitment to treating all patients with respect and dignity
