Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate social work support to patients and families navigating mental health challenges
Conduct thorough assessments and coordinate care plans with the interdisciplinary team
Facilitate involuntary psychiatric evaluations when patients pose a danger to themselves or others
Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive support
Document patient interactions and maintain accurate clinical records

Qualifications

Active California LCSW license required
Current BLS certification
5150 certification in California required
Prior experience with Dignity Health facilities strongly preferred
Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in involuntary psychiatric holds and mental health crisis intervention
Knowledge of California mental health regulations and 5150 protocols
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
Strong communication and documentation skills
Understanding of care coordination best practices
