Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call, every 5th or 6th weekend on call, and rotating holiday call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and scrub support across all surgical service lines in a dynamic 7-suite OR
Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric patients
Adapt quickly to a varied daily schedule that includes neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
Mentor teammates and share knowledge in a department known for exceptional camaraderie and longevity
Maintain strict safety standards, including the facility's no-artificial-nails policy

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in Neuro and proficiency across all surgical service lines
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with a 90 percent score during orientation
Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm 50-mile radius compliance

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record
Experience with DaVinci robotic systems
Strong teamwork, flexibility, and willingness to educate others
Commitment to patient safety and sterile technique
