Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with start times at 6:30 AM, 3:00 PM, and 11:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-level care to neuro rehab patients recovering from TBI, stroke, brain tumor resection, and transplant surgeries
Partner closely with patients and families to support recovery and education
Administer IV therapy, manage wounds, and perform essential acute MedSurg interventions
Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team including rehab physicians and therapists
Float to other MedSurg units as needed to support hospital-wide patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license with strong MedSurg experience required
BLS certification required
Rehab experience preferred
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts allowed)
Comfortable with high communication and personal involvement with patients and families

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Strong sterile field technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Ability to work in a low-stimulation neuro rehab environment
Experience with interdisciplinary rounds and therapy coordination
Comfort managing neuro population including TBI, CVA, and transplant patients
