Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert care to mothers and newborns in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
- Circulate C-sections and support high-risk deliveries with confidence and skill
- Monitor fetal heart rates and respond swiftly to changing patient needs
- Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and on-call specialists to ensure seamless care
- Float between L&D and PP units, bringing your versatile expertise wherever it's needed most
Qualifications
- Active California RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D/PP experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
- Proven ability to circulate C-sections
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- Travel experience is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring and assessment skills
- Comfortable caring for patients 34 weeks and above, including high-risk deliveries
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexible and adaptable when floating between units
- Detail-oriented with a passion for honoring each patient's unique birth plan
