Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and antepartum patients in a Level 3 facility
Perform independent vaginal exams and confidently place internal monitors
Circulate and recover C-section patients with skill and compassion
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to Mother-Baby unit and other areas as census needs arise
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips with ACLS and AFM expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Strong experience with high-risk labor, vaginal exams, and internal monitor placement
Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced L&D environment

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
High-risk labor and delivery management
Antepartum care expertise
C-section circulation and recovery
Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Cerner electronic fetal monitoring system
