Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shifts
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and referrals
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, prevention, and follow-up
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and comply with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license—California licensure preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications a plus
• Previous clinical nursing experience, ideally in school health or outpatient settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to work independently on per-diem assignments and adapt to variable schedules

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing assessments, medication administration, and care planning
• Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
• Skilled at patient/family education and health promotion
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced per-diem environment
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
