Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care that preserves dignity and comfort
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Measure and document vital signs and report any changes promptly
Support mobility and safe transfers while promoting independence
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and handoffs
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
Communicate clearly with nurses, patients, and families to ensure coordinated care
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented care environment

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
Valid CNA certification for the state of California
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with strong soft skills are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and personal care techniques
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and control practices
Clear documentation and basic charting skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
Compassionate patient-centered approach
