Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility to promote patient comfort and dignity
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes in patient condition
Document care and observations clearly in the patient chart
Collaborate with nurses and the care team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in California (as required by facility)
Comfortable providing hands-on patient care and working in fast-paced settings
Ability to pass background check and drug screen per facility policy
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on assignment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient-care skills including ADLs and safe patient transfers
Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
Clear, respectful communication with patients and the interdisciplinary team
Reliable documentation and basic charting skills
Dependability, time management, and a collaborative attitude
