Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to med/surg/tele, ortho and neurosurgery patients
Masterfully manage 4-6 patients with confidence and skill
Perform essential procedures like IV insertions, catheter care and central line maintenance
Administer medications with precision and care
Collaborate seamlessly with the care team for optimal outcomes
Document accurately in Meditech EHR to keep everything running smoothly

Qualifications

Active RN license in hand
2+ years recent acute med/surg/tele experience
Comfortable caring for 4-6 patients per shift
BLS certification required
Ready to float to other med/surg/tele units as needed

Education

RN licensure with associate or bachelor degree in nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry monitoring and med/surg nursing
Strong neurosurgery and ortho experience preferred
Proficient with standard nursing equipment and Meditech EMR
Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
Patient-centered approach with a friendly positive attitude
