Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-10 hour days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in the acute care setting to understand their unique needs
Develop personalized care plans that drive real recovery
Apply specialized therapy techniques to improve mobility and function
Coordinate with PTAs, OTs, speech therapists and techs for seamless care
Communicate progress effectively with patients, families and hospital staff
Navigate single-patient rooms unit-to-unit delivering impactful rehab
Utilize advanced patient lifting equipment for safe, effective treatments

Qualifications

2+ years of experience with preference for acute care background
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy
BLS certification required
Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in acute care procedures
Experience in orthopedics, neurology and cardiopulmonary therapy welcomed
Comfortable with Cerner Power Chart documentation
Skilled in using patient lifting equipment like SARA+, Stedy and Maximove
