Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 24

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and supervise acute care nursing teams during night shifts for optimal patient outcomes
Oversee patient care delivery ensuring safety and quality standards are met
Coordinate with staff to manage resources and respond to emergencies effectively
Mentor and support RNs fostering a collaborative and high-performing unit
Monitor facility operations overnight to maintain exceptional care standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in New York or compact state
Acute care nursing experience with supervisory background
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong leadership skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced night environments

Education

BSN preferred, Associate's Degree in Nursing required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care nursing practices
Proficient in patient assessment and care coordination
Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
Quick decision-making under pressure
