Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours guaranteed)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintain timely and accurate patient records to ensure top-notch care
Supervise assistant and aide staff to deliver exceptional team results
Design and fabricate custom splints based on doctors' prescriptions
Create and administer innovative treatment programs that boost patients' functioning
Lead therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance strength, range of motion, and fine-motor skills
Collaborate with a dynamic therapy team to help patients return home stronger

Qualifications

Active Missouri State OT License (Compact Allowed)
LTC or Rehab experience required
2 years of OT experience preferred

Education

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in long-term care and rehabilitation settings
Skilled in splint fabrication and therapeutic program design
Strong abilities in therapeutic exercises for strength and coordination
Experience with diverse diagnoses including cognitive, dietary, and neurological
