Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to MICU patients with compassion and precision
Manage ventilators, dialysis, central lines and bedside procedures like thoracentesis
Monitor cardiac output and respond swiftly to intubations and cardioversions
Collaborate with the team on acuity-based assignments that make a real difference
Document meticulously in Meditech while floating as needed to support the unit

Qualifications

Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
2+ years MICU or MSICU experience to hit the ground running
CCRN certification preferred for those standout candidates

Education

RN licensure with relevant ICU nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun and GE Cardiac Output monitors
Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
Strong skills in high-acuity critical care procedures
Adaptability for floating as needed per unit policy
