Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver full-time physical therapy to diverse clients from pediatric to geriatric across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and wound care
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, home care, and community outreach services in a hospital-based outpatient clinic
• Travel to villages to extend care to remote Alaskan Native communities
• Adhere to Physical Therapy standards, JCAHO, OSHA, and corporate policies while applying age-specific and culturally sensitive care
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff as a key team member
• Utilize equipment like hi-lo tables, whirlpool, ultrasound, and therapeutic modalities to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Alaska Physical Therapist license in good standing
• CPR certification
• Hospital-based experience preferred

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills to connect with physicians, staff, clients, and diverse cultural groups including non-English speakers
• Mathematical proficiency for computing rates, ratios, and interpreting graphs
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems in varied settings with limited standardization
• Language skills to read professional journals, write reports, and present effectively to medical teams and the public
