Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to mothers and newborns in a high-volume OB/GYN unit
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs with precision and empathy
- Assist in labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery to create positive birthing experiences
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans to empower confident recoveries
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent OB/GYN nursing experience
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- ACLS preferred for this dynamic role
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment skills for high-risk pregnancies
- Expertise in electronic medical records and fetal monitoring
- Excellent communication for patient and family education
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced labor and delivery environments
