Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3 x 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage progressive care patients with critical conditions
Administer cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips with precision
Perform EKG rhythm interpretation to catch issues early
Provide peritoneal dialysis and peripheral IV care
Deliver high flow O2, BiPAP, and multiple oxygen therapies
Care for stroke patients and post-cardiac cath recovery
Insert and manage NG/Dobhoff tubes and tube feedings
Collaborate with techs and team for exceptional patient outcomes
Round hourly on days to ensure top-notch patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Critical thinking skills and EKG rhythm interpretation expertise

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac drip, insulin drip, and heparin drip management
Peritoneal dialysis (preferred)
Peripheral IV insertion
BiPAP, high flow O2, and oxygen delivery systems
Stroke care and post-cardiac cath experience
Tube feedings and NG/Dobhoff tube management
