Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to med/surg patients on a bustling 34-bed unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions with a keen eye for detail
Collaborate with unit secretaries and PCTs for seamless teamwork
Utilize Meditech system to document and track vital patient information
Float to other departments as needed to support hospital-wide excellence
Champion patient experience in a Level 1 trauma and stroke center

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification required
At least 2 years of med/surg nursing experience
Comfortable with 6:1 patient ratios
Ready for night shifts and weekend rotations

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong med/surg nursing expertise
Proficiency with Meditech documentation
Excellent patient assessment and care skills
Team collaboration in fast-paced environments
Adaptability to floating across departments
