Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using critical thinking for patient comfort and well-being
- Apply all phases of the nursing process from assessment to evaluation
- Direct and supervise the nursing care team including CNAs and LPNs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care
- Document patient progress and responses with precision and timeliness
Qualifications
- Active Michigan state RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- NRP certification (preferred, willingness to obtain required)
- 2 years of current Birthing Center experience
- Experience with laboring patients, delivery including newborn care, and postpartum care for moms and babies
Education
- RN licensure required
