Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using critical thinking for patient comfort and well-being
Apply all phases of the nursing process from assessment to evaluation
Direct and supervise the nursing care team including CNAs and LPNs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care
Document patient progress and responses with precision and timeliness

Qualifications

Active Michigan state RN license
BLS (AHA) certification
NRP certification (preferred, willingness to obtain required)
2 years of current Birthing Center experience
Experience with laboring patients, delivery including newborn care, and postpartum care for moms and babies

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing process expertise
Patient assessment and care documentation
Team supervision and leadership
Labor and delivery patient management
