Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to acute rehab patients helping them regain independence
Perform ADLs and assist with 1:1 mealtime support to enhance patient nutrition
Execute safe patient mobility transfers using specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts
Manage Foley care NG tubes PICC and midline lines with precision
Round on patients each shift ensuring they are discharge-ready
Collaborate with PT OT and ST teams for optimal therapy outcomes
Celebrate patient discharges with heartfelt clap-out ceremonies

Qualifications

Active RN license
2 years of experience
BLS certification required NIHSS preferred
Med/surg training essential

Education

RN degree from accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Rehabilitation nursing background a plus
Safe patient transfer techniques
Cardiac telemetry monitoring
IV equipment and kangaroo pump operation
Meditech documentation system
