Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to med-surg telemetry patients during night shifts
• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry, recognize rhythm changes, and escalate appropriately
• Perform thorough patient assessments, document findings accurately, and update the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders and hospital policies
• Complete Trinity Specialty Competency Testing and maintain skills via checklists
• Participate in holiday and every-other-weekend rotations to ensure seamless patient coverage

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with License/Certificate Verification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience or comfort working Med Surg Telemetry and night shift nursing
• Ability to complete required pre-employment testing and health requirements (fit test, 10-panel drug screen, color vision, immunizations, PPD/IGRA, physical/health statement)

• Med Surg Telemetry care and monitoring
• Telemetry rhythm recognition and timely intervention
• Night shift prioritization, assessment, and independent clinical judgment
• Familiarity with Trinity-specific competency processes and skills checklists
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
