Location: Pendleton, Oregon

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Intermediate Nursery
Titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips as needed
Independently manage all areas of care alongside a supportive team
Jump seamlessly from one task to another in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Serve as a back-up for fellow nurses, ensuring safety and collaboration
Float to other units as a helping hand when census allows

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license (or apply for the 90-day Emergency License)
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Proven experience in L&D, Postpartum, and routine/intermediate nursery care
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Strong skills in managing titratable drips and fetal monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of AWHONN guidelines and low-risk OB care
Proficient with electronic fetal monitoring (FE Centricity Perinatal)
Comfortable with stabilizing vents and Bubble CPAP for neonatal transfers
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to shift from slow periods to high-acuity situations
