Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts - Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or Nights: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; 4 shifts per week including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU and PCU
Monitor and titrate complex drips including vasopressors and antiarrhythmics
Collaborate with intensivists and hospitalists to develop treatment plans
Manage ventilators and non-invasive respiratory support devices
Float between ICU and PCU to support patient needs
Utilize telemetry monitoring and respond to alarms
Assess and document patient conditions, adjust care plans as needed

Qualifications

Current Texas RN license in good standing
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 1-2 years of critical care experience
Experience with titrating vasoactive drips and managing ventilators
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and float between units
