Location: Cordova, Alaska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Night shift, 36 hours per week (3x12s)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department
Manage acute care patients in the Med-Surg unit
Cover Long Term Care as needed
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license required
Minimum 2 years of ED and Med-Surg experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (no exceptions)
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a rural setting
Experience in LTC preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing and acute care skills
Med-Surg and Long Term Care knowledge
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Flexibility to work across multiple units
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
